Membership Information.
We are part of the Ramblers' Association, Britain's biggest charity working to promote walking and to improve conditions for all walkers. We support all who walk, from beginners to experienced enthusiasts. We are dedicated to safeguarding our unique network of public paths - all too often, they are illegally blocked, obstructed and overgrown. We work with the local authority to make them a pleasure to walk on. We seek to increase access to the countryside for walkers and to protect the countryside and green spaces so that walkers can enjoy its tranquility and beauty.

The best things in life are free and walking is definitely one of them… …but our work to protect your favourite footpaths, open spaces and landscapes is, unfortunately, not without cost. By becoming a member you help us to continue our work; by joining you invest in your walking pleasure and you really do make a difference. You get a good deal when you join us…...in addition to the satisfaction of supporting our work, you will receive free:
  • The Ramblers Association quarterly magazine, 'Walk', packed with gear and book reviews, stunning photography and exciting features by renowned writers.
  • R.A. annual handbook, 'Walk Britain' (rrp:£5.99), containing maps, photographs, contact details and accommodation listings, many of which are discounted.
  • The opportunity to get out walking with the West Glamorgan Ramblers and your membership will also allow you to walk with any of the 450 Ramblers groups across England, Scotland and Wales.

Individual £27.00 Membership for one person
Joint £36.00 Two adults living at the same address.
Reduced individual £15.00
